Strings of Country

Country music is all about great ballads, really great slow songs and dance. 

This music genre gained popularity in the US back in the 1940’s. That popularity spread across the world courtesy of singers like Kenny Rogers, Don Williams, Dolly Parton, Skeeter Davis, Charley Pride, Josh Turner, Jim Reeves and more recently, Alan Jackson, Darius Rucker, Brad Paisley, Little Big Town, Toby Keith  and many others.  These artists and others are featured on this riveting TV show.  Viewer’s response is through telephone calls, Facebook, Twitter and text messages.  

The show features Country Music songs of the 1960’s to present day, spiced with interesting anecdotes and information about the singers.  The show is hosted by David Kimotho aka DK.
